Viva Argentina!

Today in the mail we received pictures and a letter from Taylors Mission President and his wife. They also included a letter Taylor wrote they day he arrived. He said that he loves it already in Argentina.

Taylor is now serving in an area called Moreno. It is about 15 minutes away from the Mission home. He is says he is doing well and he likes the food.

Sunday Drive

After church today we took a drive up to Mount Vernon to see the birds.

If you look close enough there at least twenty Bald Eagles in these trees
In this tree you can see one of the Eagles feasting on one of the Snow Geese
There were TONS of Snow Geese (AKA Eagle food)
We also saw lots of trumpeter swans

Home for the holidays

All the girls. It was so nice having them all together for the holidays.

Jaimie & Nayt

Cache was the center of attention. He is soooo cute! We wish he lived alot closer!

Mallorie & Jon

We loved having all the girls home for Christmas. It has been very quiet around here without them. We also missed having taylor here but wouldn't want him anywhere but where he is. Next year Mallorie and Jaimie will be spending the holidays with inlaws so we will only have two kids home. We are looking forward to having everyone home when Taylor gets back.

Kicked him out at the curb

We dropped Taylor off December 16th at the MTC in Provo. You don't get to take them in anymore and watch a movie. We pulled up to the curb, took a couple pictures and off he went without looking back. Although it was sad to say goodbye we are so excited for him to go.
We received a letter from him on Monday and he is doing well. The best thing about having him leave right before Christmas is that he will be back right before Christmas in 2 years.

Mission Call

While at the Hospital with Mallorie while she was in labor Taylor received his Mission call. Chris was able to conference everyone in while he opened it. He is going to the Buenos Aires, Argentina West mission. He leaves on December 16th. I don't think the day could have been better. Our son received his mission call and our daughter had a baby!!!!

We're Finally Grandparents!

Cache Taylor Nielsen was born on August 21st. He weighed 7 lbs 12 ounces and was 21.5 inches long at 1:03 in the morning. Jaimie and I were able to be in the delivery room and it was a wonderful experience. Mallorie did a great job and now we have a beautiful baby grandson. Chris flew in the next day so he could see the baby before his trip to China. Zoe and Samantha are here too and Taylor will get to visit his namesake next month.
