Kicked him out at the curb

We dropped Taylor off December 16th at the MTC in Provo. You don't get to take them in anymore and watch a movie. We pulled up to the curb, took a couple pictures and off he went without looking back. Although it was sad to say goodbye we are so excited for him to go.
We received a letter from him on Monday and he is doing well. The best thing about having him leave right before Christmas is that he will be back right before Christmas in 2 years.

He'll be great! That's so crazy that they don't let you go in to the MTC anymore. This way the good-bye is a lot shorter and not so dramatic, though, maybe...

It's a tough time. You're so happy for the person going on the mission, but sad that you won't be seeing them for a couple of years! Hope you guys are doing well!! I sure miss being there in Marysville!!

I've been meaning to call and ask how it went. You guys look great, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I never got to the Christmas letter this year, maybe I'll get it together in a few days for New Years! Take care.
